My recent stay at the Stromness was a culinary journey in itself. Nestled conveniently near the ferry, its location made exploration easy. I kicked off my experience at the Scapa Flow Restaurant, where my taste buds danced around delightful dishes crafted from fresh local ingredients. The atmosphere was historic yet comforting, setting the stage for a memorable meal. I particularly enjoyed the flexibility of dining hours, allowing me to savor my meal at my own pace. Afterward, the Fire Lounge offered a cozy retreat for reflection and relaxation, especially by the fireplace. The only hiccup was at check-in, where an issue arose that could've been handled better. The staff's genuine effort to assist shone through. The Stromness left me with a memorable culinary adventure worth returning for.
